Virtual Office Visit
In order to provide her patients the care that they need and deserve, all new problems and significant follow-up to chronic problems will be addressed through either an in-person office visit or a virtual office visit (VOV) via telephone or internet. Virtual office visits can be used for new or existing problems, which, in Dr Queenan ’s professional opinion, may not require face to face care. Examples include routine follow up on chronic medication conditions such as cholesterol or thyroid problems, or acute problems such as uncomplicated sinus or urinary tract infections. They are NOT SUITABLE for severe issues such as trouble breathing, severe bleeding, chest pain that you think might be a heart attack (Call 911 now if you have any of these issues!).

What is a Virtual Office Visit?
A WebVisit is a medical consultation, provided online using secure technology. It allows you to receive treatment from your own physician without going into the office. You complete a thorough patient history form focused on your symptoms, which Dr. Queenan will review before choosing a treatment plan. She will then communicate directions on your treatment plan back to you through the secure site.
Dr. Queenan will reply to WebVisits completed within business hours (see the practice website for hours) by the end of the business day, which may not be until the evening. She will respond to WebVisits completed after hours and on weekends by the next business day. For more urgent issues, please reach Dr. Queenan via the 888-494-3064; for after hours concerns, dial priority code 9-1-1 during the voicemail to override the digital voicemail system and be connected directly with her; if appropriate, she may direct you to the Relay Health website to complete an afterhours WebVisit.
Scheduling a Virtual Office Visit

Payment for WebVisits
Most insurance companies do not pay for these visits, but more and more insurance companies are recognizing the value of this service for their members; please call your insurance company to inquire about coverage. If the visit is covered, your insurance company will be automatically billed through the website. If the visit is a non-covered service, you will be billed directly. The fee for a WebVisit $30; an additional charge for after hours services of $15 will be added for after hours WebVisits. If Dr. Queenan reviews your WebVisit and thinks the problem must be addressed with an in-person office visit, your WebVisit payment will be applied to any applicable co-pays or co-insurance, or will be returned as a credit on your account. The fee for a telephone VOV is based upon time, at $30 for a 15 minute visit and $60 for a 30 minute visit.
